WIEDEMANN, Guillermo (Wilhelm Egon), (German/Colombian, 1905-1969): ''Purificacion'', Depicting Kneeling Female Nude in a Tropical Forest Landscape Reminiscent of Gauguin, Oil on Canvas, 31 1/2'' x 26'', signed lower left and dated 1941, titled lower right, painted frame, 37'' x 31 1/4''. Wiedemann was a German born artist, arriving in Colombia in 1939; he is in many Museums, and there is much information available on his life.
