Ornament with a Hunter being roasted by Hares (B. 204; G. 453; L., Holl. 603)
engraving, before 1495, a very good impression of this extremely rare print, with margins on all sides except at the lower right sheet edge where trimmed to the platemark, a small, unobtrusive printer's crease at the upper right corner, in exceptionally good condition
P. 52 x 262 mm., S. 55 x 263 mm.

Notes

Lehrs records only eight impressions in public collections, most of which are either trimmed or mere fragments. The census consists of: Bologna; Hamburg (the right side only); London (the frame trimmed off top and bottom); New York (the monogram drawn in); Oxford; Paris; Vienna (two impressions)
