engraving, circa 1475-80, a rather grey, later impression, watermark Coat of Arms with a Lion and a Flower above (L. 33; Briquet 1944, dated 1487), trimmed to the borderline, with some made up repairs mainly at the sheet edges
S. 162 x 90 mm.

Notes

Lehrs knew of approximately 40 impressions of this print. Geisberg considered this subject to be part of the series of Large Saints which he dated to the late 1470s.
