Notes

This set of four overdoors were painted for the pavilion in the garden of the house Bosch en Hoven on the River Vecht. The house was subsequently destroyed but the pavilion was rebuilt in Aerdenhout, where only the trompe l'oeils of Winter and Summer were reinstalled. The series was reunited again at the PAN Amsterdam in October 1997.
