Although this drawing was previously attributed to Marco Marchetti da Faenza, it is a typical example of Jacopo Zucchi's more rapid sketches. It can be closely compared with other studies such as The Festival of Orpheus in the Art Museum, Princeton Universityυ1 or three sheets in the Louvre: David and Bathsheba, The Adoration of the Shepherds and Christ Before Pilate.υ2 1.
