This house, currently inhabited by the Royal Nepalese Embassy, was comissioned by Sir Morton Peto. Peto was an extraordinary entrepeneur involved in a large amount of construction ventures such as Nelson's Column, the Reform Club and various railways.

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium, which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.
