engraving, 1546-1555, without watermark, second, final state, a good impression of this extremely rare print, with wiped tone in the sky, on the face of the Cross and elsewhere, the plate beginning to show wear in places, with narrow margins on three sides and square sheet corners above, several extremely skilfully repaired tears and made-up paper losses in the subject
