A pair of portraits: Charles IV (1748-1819), King of Spain 1788-1808, in patterned blue coat, wearing the sash and breast-star of the Order of Carlos III and the jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece; together with Maria Luisa of Parma (1751-1819), Queen of Spain, in sprigged light blue dress, wearing the sash and badge of the Order of Maria Luisa, earring, silver and red ribbons in her dark curling hair
