Lot 643: Jesse Reichek (American, b. 1916), "Abstract Composition", c.1946; oil/canvas, 20" x 34", signed

and dated, provenance: estate of Myron Kozman. Reichek studied at the Institute of Design from 1941-42. He exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, University of New Mexico Museum, San Francisco Museum of Art, and the University of Southern California Art Museum. His work is in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, Amon Carter Museum, UCLA, and the La Jolla Art Museum.
