JEZEK Stanislav *6. 7. 1904 Bystrice pod Hostynem) Flowers in a vase Gouache on paper, 64 x 42 cm, mounted, glazed, dated 1936, signed lower left. Czech painter and graphic artist, he studied under V. H. Brunner at the Academy of Decorative Arts and under professor Nechleba at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he spent a year in Paris with Frantisek Kupka. He was a versatile artist.
