It is bidder's complete responsibility to understand all terms and conditions BEFORE Bidding. By registering for the auction you agree to the auction company's Terms and Conditions.
Your bid is a binding contract. If you are the winning bidder, the item is yours and payment is expected upon receipt of invoice.
TERMS OF SALE:
All property is sold AS IS and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No guarantee, expressed or implied, is given on any item. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinant factor. Catalog and On-Line Description are meant as a guide only. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. The Red Barn Auction Company will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
We want you to be happy with your purchases. If you have questions about the merchandise, the time to ask questions is well in advance of the final auction day. We encourage serious bidders to call us (252) 459-3812 and we will give you as many details as possible. The Red Barn Auction Company DOES NOT accept any phone calls/emails relating to condition of the items after the auction ending process starts on the final day.
The Red Barn Auction Company reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction. The Red Barn Auction Company is not responsible for theft, damage, or loss of items.
NON-PAYMENT and ABANDONED MERCHANDISE POLICY:
7 days from receipt of invoice, all unpaid invoices will receive a "close claim" status on Auctionzip, and the bidder will receive a permanent "upi" strike per item on their Auctionzip account. Non-payers will be banned from any future Red Barn auctions.
7 days from receipt of invoice, all unpaid and unclaimed items are considered abandoned and become property of The Red Barn Auction Company. "Unclaimed" includes items that are not picked-up regardless of whether the bid amount is paid. "Unclaimed" also includes items for which shipping has not been paid, regardless of whether the bid amount is paid.
LOCAL BUYER PICK-UP:
LOCAL BUYERS WILL PICK UP ITEMS AT THE SALE SITE ON A SET PICK-UP DATE. Please refer to the auction details to determine if you are available to retrieve your items on the set date. If you cannot arrange for pick-up on the set date, you have 2 options:
1. Don't bid.
2. Contact The Red Barn to arrange an alternate pick-up date. A storage fee of $25 per auction order will be charged per week until your items are retrieved. If you have large orders or bulky items, additional charges may apply. Orders not retrieved after 4 weeks will be considered abandoned.
IMPORTANT TERMS FOR ON-SITE ESTATE AUCTIONS:
In the event that auctions are held at an estate location and not at The Red Barn Auction house, pick up will be at the address indicated in the listing. These type of auctions have additional pick-up provisions. Local buyers must retrieve items on the assigned pick-up day to avoid extra charges. If you cannot arrange pick -up, you may call to request that your items be transferred to our warehouse. We will give you a quote for transfer charges based on the size of your order. Invoice and transfer charges must be paid at time of request. Once items are at The Red Barn, storage charges will apply.
Credit Cards
OUR COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. If you do not pay via paypal within the allotted 3 days your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the items you purchased PLUS shipping.
PAYMENTS
You will be emailed an invoice within 2 days listing your purchases and any applicable shipping & handling charges. Payments must be received and cleared prior to items being shipped.
You have 3 options for payment:

2. Credit Card: We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. We DO NOT have access to your credit card information through AuctionZip. If you choose this option, you must contact us with your credit card information at 252-459-3812.

Shipping
We ship items world-wide. We manage our shipping in-house. Shipping is through USPS or FedEx at the discretion of The Red Barn. If there are address changes or special instructions regarding shipping, please contact us immediately after auction ends at 252-459-3812.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGED ITEMS DUE TO SHIPPING. If an item is broken in delivery please use the mailing label and contact your local post office or file your claim online.
