Joe Pollitt b.1970- "Cut"; pierced canvas, four conjoined stretchers, 60x82cm., (unframed) (may be subject to Droit de Suite) Note: 'Cut' is a work looking at the way in which a patient is treated while undergoing treatment for Cancer. The work is broken up into four panels and these are like the seasons themselves; the four cycles of life. The last in the cycle, the fourth canvas is seen to be exhausted - this is to reflect all the treatment given.
