Not lined. 3/4 in. x 1/4 in. L-shaped tear in waves above rock at lower right. Stretcher stress along top edge and vertically through center. Scattered surface debris. Some rubbing from frame along top edge of work. Scattered areas of craquelure. 10 in. horizontal surface scratch along bottom left edge. One tiny pigment loss on top of wave at center and one near bottom edge near rocks. UV: Scattered small areas of inpainting in sky, waves and rocks especially at lower right. Frame is cove moulding with rope twist and striated outer moulding-fine condition.
