Major Joseph Greene served with his regiment in America. For his services he was rewarded with a grant of land in Canada, having married Hannah Townsend in America. He died at John's Hill, Waterford and in buried in the vault at Kilmacow, Co.Kilkenny, 23rd November, 1830.
