Description

Built at Hantsport by Ezra Churchill in 1862, the "La Gloire" served in the Trans-Atlantic trade. She is portrayed in the English Channel near Calais. Oil on canvas, 20 1/4 x 30 1/4 inches. Signed "John : Loos, Antwerp" and dated 1869, l.r.
