John Henry Inskip R.B.A. (1864-1947) "Stacking Hay, West Beer, Kent" Signed, inscribed with the artist's name and 19 The Esplanade, Scarborough, together with further biographical details on a label attached to the reverse, oil on board, 22cm by 31cm Born in Scarborough the son of photographer John Inskip. Studied at Scarborough School of Art with Albert Strange, exhibited at the Royal Academy, became a member of the Fylingdales Group and Vice President of the Scarborough Sketching Club.
