Lot 71: John J. Benninger (American, 1906-1998)

Still Life. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right corner, approx. 20" x 26", framed in a bright gilt overall approx. 25" x 30-3/4". Label affixed to the stretchers from exhibit in an "Area Annual"; plastic label on back of frame from "First Award 1945 Canfield Fair" and written on verso of canvas "Benninger Concour Mr. Eastman" (probably William Joseph Eastman).

Appears to be in fine condition.
