Important Sale Information

Buyer's Premium: The Buyer's Premium is set at 18% inclusive of VAT. (15% plus VAT)
Bidding: Bidders will be required to register before the sale commences and lots will be invoiced to the name and address on the registration form. Bidders unknown to Cuttlestones Auctioneers will need to provide proof of address in order to register.
Live Internet Bidding: This is available through www.invaluable.com.
Commission Absentee Bidding: Commission bids may be left with the Auctioneer, indicating the maximum amount to be bid (excluding Buyer's Premium and VAT). They will be executed as cheaply as possibly having regard to the reserve (if any) and competing bids.
Telephone Bidding: Absentee Bidders may request a telephone bid, and this will be accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis up to the limit of available lines per lot.
Absentee Bidding: Absentee Bidding may be submitted by either email (stratford@cuttlestones.co.uk) or telephone 07940 552680. Such bids will be acknowledged (in kind) as received and bidders should confirm their bids by telephone (07940 552680) if no such acknowledgment is received.
Condition reports and photographs: Cuttlestones Auctioneers are happy to provide condition reports, further information and additional images of lots in the sale up to 24 hours before the sale. Requests can be made by email to stratford@cuttlestones.co.uk or telephone 07940 552680. Please note requests will usually be completed in 72 hours.
Artists Resale Rights: This is a royalty which, since 2006, has been due to living artists, for art work bought/sold by art market professionals, above the threshold of 1000 Euro. In such cases, the royalty payable is currently 4% on Hammer Prices from 0 to 50,000 Euro and 3% from 50,000.01 to 200,000 Euro. This will be an extra charge upon the Hammer Price.

Methods of Payment: Lots will not be released until payment is received in full by Cuttlestones Auctioneers. Payment is required within 7 days of the auction. Payment can be made in the following ways:
• Cash in Stirling in person up to €15000 (approx. £11,000).
• Direct Bank transfer to Cuttlestones Auctioneers using the following details: Account Name: Cuttlestones Ltd, Sort Code: 20-81-00, A/C Number: 93789152. International customers: IBAN: GB02 BARC 2081 0093 7891 52, BIC/SWIFT: BARC GB22) Please notify Cuttlestones of bank transfer by email stratford@cuttlestones.co.uk.
• Debit cards from a UK bank account.
• Debit cards from international bank accounts accepted at a surcharge of 3% (2.5% plus VAT)
• Credit cards accepted in person only at a surcharge of 3% (2.5% plus VAT)
Collection: Collection of goods can be made on the day of sale strictly after the close of the sale (unless by prior arrangement), or on a pre-determined collection day as detailed below, other times strictly by appointment only. Lots will not be released until payment is received in full by Cuttlestones Auctioneers.
Scheduled collection days as follows: Monday 30th March to Wednesday 1st April, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Storage: Goods not collected by 5 pm on Wednesday 1st April, and with no prior arrangement in place will be subject to a storage charge and may be removed from site and stored in a secure warehouse. Settlement of any storage cost is required before goods can be released.
Postage and Shipping: Cuttlestones does not provide a Postage and Packing service.
