John Thane (1748-1818)-Views of Great Britain. Copperplate engraving. Published London 1796. Thane was a well know artist and engraver in England during the 18th and 19th centuries. He was a dealer in prints, medals and manuscripts in London. These beautifully engraved scenes were a hallmark of his success.
