Jorge Noceda Sanchez (Dominican, 1931-1987), surrealist scene with classical ruins, oil on canvas; 25 3/4" x 19 1/2"; signed lower right. Dr. Sanchez received his medical degree from Santo Domingo in 1952. He soon began to study in NY where he received instruction from leading French and American artists including Robert Philip and Rene Bouche.
