JOSEPH HENRY HATFIELD (American 1863-1928) DOLL TIME. Outstanding oil on canvas interior scene of a young girl with light blue and white dress standing with a travel doll cradled in her arms and looking down at a washbowl with doll which is in half view. Another doll lays on a white covered sofa with large gold and red pillows. Signed lower left and lower right "J H Hatfield". Housed in a gilt decorated period molded wood frame. SIZE: 37-1/2" x 22-1/2". CONDITION: Left stretcher line is visible. Two small patches to reverse with inpainting. Very good. 9-74952 FP
