Joseph Murray Ince (1806-1859) Coastal Scene at Low Tide, with fisher boys in the foreground Signed and dated "1837", pencil and watercolour, 11cm by 27cm A pupil of David Cox Snr at Hereford 1823-1826, moved to London and exhibited at the R.A. and the Society of British Artists. By 1832 moved to Cambridge working as an architectural draughtsman, returning to Presteign three years later. Best known for small landscapes and coastal subjects.
