KAMEDA BOSAI (1754-1826)
Kyochuzan [Mountains of the Heart]

1 volume (complete) with a pale green cover with karazuri, the title printed in black on a dark blue background, rebound in a late 19th century decorated silk wrapper, comprising 21 pages, the title page printed in black on pale pink paper inside the front cover giving the title Kyochuzan and a secondary title Bosai sensei gafu, 2 pages of a preface dated hinoe ne (1816) signed Bosai kanjin and Chokowa, 33 pages of landscapes in colour, sixteen of which are double-pages, 2 pages of postscript, the first page dated hinoe ne (1816) signed Ko with the seal Chokowa (Bosai), the second page signed Shinbaiso kikuto-rojin, calligraphy by Ogasa (Shoryu Sanso), the colophon is erroneously dated Bunka 8 (1809) and gives the publisher's name as Suwaraya Shimbei of Edo, fine impression with very delicate colours and excellent condition, Odin seal and Berès seal
