Karel Hájek (Czech, 1900-1978)

Untitled, 1926. Dated and inscribed "Photo Hajek" on the verso, stamped "PHOTO K. HÁJEK" and with a Paris studio stamp for the photographer Pawel Barchan on the verso. Gelatin silver print, image/sheet size 6 3/8 x 4 3/4 in. (16.2 x 12.1 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Unmounted, unobtrusive surface scratches, breaks in emulsion c.l. and l.l., crease l.l. corner, minor soiling on verso.

N.B. The photograph was included in the exhibition 1900 To Now: Modern Art from RI Collections at the Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, January 22 to May 1, 1988.
