The majority consisting of sosaku hanga, including five sheets by Kawakami Sumio, one showing the coat of arms of the Japanese clock collectors' association (wadokei mojiban no zu ), the second depicting a watch and book, the third of a clock and cup, the fourth of a western oki-dokei and lamp, the fifth of another clock, four signed with seal Sumi; one signed with seal Sumio; another two prints by Kanamori Yoshio, depicting the Hotta Clock company shop in the Meiji period, signed Yoshio ga, and the other of an angel holding a clock, flying over mountains, signed Kanamori with seal Yo; one by Okuyama Gihachiro, depicting the first western type clock tower built by missionaries in Sapparo, signed with seal Gi, two bookplates, a print of an early New Year card showing a dai dokei and the last of a fire clock designed by John Read. Four framed prints, seven unframed prints and a panel, the framed prints, 15cm x 10.2cm to 45½cm x 19.8cm (6in x 4in to 18in x 7¾in), the unframed prints 13cm x 8cm to 41cm x 26.6cm (5 1/8in x 3 1/8in to 16 1/8in to 10½in).
