SCARCE TRILOGY by the great Russian Futurist poet, one of 500 copies. Pasternak and Mandelshtam, among others, spoke of Khlebnikov in the highest terms. Mayakovsky called him "a Columbus of new poetical continents." Khlebnikov was fascinated with numerology and argued in Otryvok iz dosok sudby that all things could e reduced to just two numbers—2 and 3. A.
