Condition: Small dimples and unpressed crease to canvas u.c., stretcher bar marks, minor surface grime.

Condition Report

Canvas is somewhat loose on the stretcher and would benefit from keying out or possibly restretching.

Area of flaking and losses located in the gold colored pigment, center right side, 8 inches in from the right edge, the area itself measuring 6 x 5 inches. Another area of losses and flaking measuring 2-1/2 x 2 inches located 9 inches down from the top and 14 inches in from the right edge. Abrasion in a v-shape measuring about 7 x 2 1/2 inches located u.c., 5 1/2 inches down from the top and 18 inches in from the right side. Small dent in the canvas in the thumb area of the charioteer's hand.
