Children and animal sculptures are among the favorite subjects of the sculptress; since 2009, Kolb creates life-size sculptures that are inspired by works of Old Masters. The children sculptures are often depicted together with the symbol of a bird. In so doing, Kolb features emotional and soul states connected with borderline situations, keeping, at the same time, a unique aesthetic quality.

Condition:
The sculpture is in very good condition without any significant traces from use.

Kristin Kolb (b. 1962)
Born in Braunschweig, Kristin Kolb studied pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist until 2010; since 2005, she has also worked as a freelance artist with a focus on sculpture in Berlin. Kolb has exhibited her works in the Abuss-Sammlung Antiker Plastik and the Naturkundemuseum in Berlin. (cko)
