[SCHWÄBISCH GMÜND: KÜCHLER, 1611] Oblong folio (287 x 345mm.), engraved title-page, letterpress dedication leaf, 241 engraved plates in 30 separately-numbered series (some folding, some pasted together to form folding plates), first plate of most series with engraved caption pasted at top of leaf (that of the fourth series lacking caption), contemporary blind-stamped German pigskin binding, title, dedication leaves and a few plates repaired at right hand edge, small hole in plate 10 of first series, long folding plate 22 of first series poorly printed, creased and repaired, one plate in 17th series defectively printed, small marginal wormholes towards end, occasional light staining or foxing, boards slightly warped, binding slightly stained and rubbed
