Kuwagata Keisai (1764-1824), early 19th century
a kakemono, painted in sumi, gofun and slight colour on paper, depicting a lady wearing flowing robes, seated with her head resting on her right hand -- 14in. x 15¾in. (35.6cm. x 40cm.), signed and sealed, fitted wood box; a shunga kakemono, early 19th century, in sumi, gofun and colours on silk, with a couple relaxing in a candlelit interior -- 9½in. x 12¾in. (24.2cm. x 32.4cm.), signed Baioken Eishun and sealed, fitted wood box; and a kakemono with the upper part of a Ukiyoe painting, early 19th century, in sumi, gofun and colour on silk, depicting the head and torso of a male kabuki actor -- 9¾in. x 18½in. (24.8cm. x 47cm.), with signature and seal. (3)
