Original plain wrappers, spines lettered in manuscript; clamshell box. Stain to full-page engraving, spines sunned and creased with some glue repair, untrimmed and partially unopened.

Rare edition. It was published as part of the series, Magazin von merkwuedigen neuen Reisebeschreibungen. Forbes notes 2 plates in volume 2 which do not appear here and do not appear to have been issued with the set. Forbes 304.
