Leander Russ (1809 - 1864), A group of four, including; A view of a city wall; A View of a cemetery; A view on the Nile, and another, pencil and grey wash, all unframed, the largest 21 x 39.5 cm (4).

Leander Russ (1809 - 1864). These drawings and watercolours were executed during a tour of the Middle East between 1838 and 1842. Russ intended to publish and illustrated account of his travels and this collection includes a projected title page but the account was never published.
