Leander Russ (1809 - 1864), A group of six watercolours, including views entitled; 'Entree de la deuxieume pyramide a Gizeh'; 'Entree de la pyramide trouquee a Gizeh, dite de chiops'; 'a Gourma, Thebes'; 'Entree du puits des Ibis a Jakamah'; 'Entree exterieure du tombeau', and one other, all unframed, average size 15 x 25 cm (6).

Leander Russ (1809 - 1864). These drawings and watercolours were executed during a tour of the Middle East between 1838 and 1842. Russ intended to publish and illustrated account of his travels and this collection includes a projected title page but the account was never published.
