Scattered dots of retouch to the sky. Spot of retouch to l.r. quadrant about 3/.4 inch wide. Minor frame abrasion.

Provenance: Purchased by the current owner from James D. Julia auction house, February 6-7, 2009, sale, Lot 95. The painting bore a full attribution and was titled "Morning Reflections." Because the work is lined without documentation of any title that may have been on the reverse, it was not possible to positively confirm it among the works listed in the Southold Historical Society publication, "Lemuel Maynard Wiles, A Record of His Works."
