Leonard Creo (New York, b. 1923), "Rainy Day," oil on canvas, signed lower right, two gallery labels/stamps to the verso, the first from Joseph Grosman Fine Art in San Francisco, California, the second from The Carter Gallery in Los Angeles, California, measures 26 x 23 inches, overall in the frame, 32 x 30 inches. CONDITION: Good. Born in New York and trained at the Art Student's League, Creo's works have been exhibited around the world and are held the collections of many museums, including Amherst College Museum, Georgia Museum of Fine Arts, Long Beach Museum of Fine Arts, Norfolk Art Museum, Syracuse University Museum, Ulrich Museum, University of Maine, University of New York Collection, University of Wyoming Museum and the Washington Museum Of Fine Arts
