Description

signed L. de Joncières and dated '99 (lower right) oil on canvas laid down on panel Condition Note: In fairly good condition. It is laid down on masonite and the surface is pressed. Under UV the varnish is difficult to read through though the table with the birdcage shows inpainting. There is a vertical strip of inpainting one inch thick from the top of the fountain's edge to his foot. Also, there are strokes around her mouth to address some kind of loss. We are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described in our catalogue.
