Description

Pet. in-12 (12,5 x 15,5 cm). - Édition originale d'un des derniers poèmes de Péret, écrit en 1959, et illustré de deux eaux-fortes signées et justifiées par le peintre-dessinateur et graveur Robert Lagarde (°1928). Il rencontra Breton en 1959 et se joignit au groupe surréaliste auquel il collabora jusqu'à sa dissolution en 1969. Tirage à 125 ex. sur B.F.K. de Rives + qqs h.c., un des 25 (tirage de tête, n° 12) accompagnés d'une suite tirée en vert-noir et d'une planche supplémentaire également tirée en vert-noir, toutes trois signées et justifiées par l'artiste. - Réf. [Bibliogr. Fata morgana]. Montpellier, FM, 1980, n° 1. - Reliure et magnifique étui complexe, à double ouverture, d'une grande ingéniosité. Exécutions parfaites ! Rel. de V[éronique] Halska 1993, plats en peaux de grenouille grise assemblées, petit trait argenté vertical en gouttière du plat sup., dos à couture extérieure enserrée dans un tube en laiton nickelé avec embouts en ébène, gardes de papier Canson vert tendre, couv. et dos cons. Sous chemise à petits rabats en demi-chagrin gris souris à bandes et plats de papier gris clair, doublure de peau velours noir. Sous étui à double ouverture tête-bêche, l'une pour l'ouvrage, l'autre pour la suite des gravures (sous chemise à part en chagrin gris souris et listel de grenouille grise sertie de filets vert tendre et argent, fermeture à glissière en métal); plats de papier gris clair et bords en ébène.

Auction - Terms of sale

The purchaser shall pay, strictly cash, the hammer price, in €, together with a premium of 25 %, eventually plus the resale tax, if applicable: 4 % for hammer prices from € 2000 on, only for original art and if the author died less than 70 years ago.
The auction follows the order indicated by the catalogue. The biddings start at about 80 % of the lowest estimate and each bid must be +/? 10% higher than the previous one. In case of a dispute the lot will be called again.
The auctioneer has the right to refuse a bid, and this without further explanation.
Each buyer by making a bid acknowledges the conditions of sale and the fact that he has inspected the purchased item.
The auctioneer has the right to split a lot or join several lots.
Lots with two or more titles, series or periodicals, or lots with a mention "n.c." and 'sold w.a.f.'are not collated and cannot be returned.
Each buyer is supposed to buy for his own account and cannot claim any commission. Each bidder should inspect the lots during the exhibition. Under no circumstances can an item, once sold, be returned. For lots bought via a bidding order remarks or complaints, also concerning the authenticity of the items, should be formulated within 2 weeks after the auction. After that delay no item can be returned.
