Carl XIV Johan, King of Sweden (1764-1844), facing right in blue coat with gold buttons and epaulettes, wearing the blue moir‚ sash and breast-star of the Swedish Order of the Seraphim, the Swedish Order of Charles XIII suspended from a red ribbon about his neck, the badges of the Royal Swedish Orders of the Sword, the Polar Star and Wasa pinned at his breast signed and dated in pencil on the reverse 'Sparrgren 1817' oval, 2 1/8 in.
