Lot 80: Luther Emerson van Gorder (American, 1861-1931)

Luther Emerson van Gorder (American, 1861-1931) "Elizabeth". Oil sketch on canvas mounted onto board, signed in the lower left corner, floated on a water damaged paper in a small black painted frame, the board size measuring 5" x 4", and with the frame overall 7" x 6". An old piece of paper is taped to the back of the framing (that has the same thumbtack holes as the painting) with the title and "From Uncle L. Van Gorder 1902".
