Condition Report

The canvas has been laid on board. The paint appears to be very thin and the weave of the canvas is somewhere visible, notably a vertical line is noticeable in the sky towards the right of the composition. Ultra-violet light reveals very minor spots of retouching, notably in the trees to the centre. The picture is in otherwise good condition and ready to hang. Presented in a wooden gilt frame with white inner slip.
