Bronze with dark brown patina, approximately 6 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. (15.2 x 14.0 x 14.0 cm), on a black marble plinth.
Condition: Surface grime.

Exhibitions: Madeleine Park Sculpture Retrospective Exhibition, June 16-June 30, 2000, James R. Bakker Gallery, Boston, Massachusetts.

N.B. Newspaper clippings and ephemera, including the "Diary of Brutus the Panther," written by the artist regarding her pet panther acquired from India in 1958, accompany the lot.
