Notes

Maighread Tobin (b. Limerick, Ireland, 1960) studied at Limerick School of Art and Design.
Solo exhibitions include Bourn Vincent Gallery (2009); Hallward Gallery, Dublin (2008, 2003, 2000, 1997, and 1995); Riverrun Gallery, Dublin (1990); and Belltable Arts Centre, Limerick (1984). Tobin has participated in the RHA annual exhibition since 1996 and group shows in 411 Gallery, Shanghai, China (2008); and Limerick City Gallery of Art (2007).
Her work is included in the collections of The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, Limerick City Council, National Drawing Collection, Office of Public Works (OPW) among others.

Premium & Taxes

The buyer shall pay the Auctioneer a commission at the rate of 24.6% (which includes VAT at the prevailing rate under The Margin Scheme and which is not reclaimable). A further charge of 6.15% (which includes VAT at the prevailing rate) is made by Invaluable to on-line bidders; a reduced charge of 3.69% including VAT applies to purchases made by clients of Whyte's who bid through Whyte's website, whytes.ie

Payment

Each lot shall be paid for in full before delivery and taken away at his/her expense within seven days of the sale.
