Marguerite-Anne De Blonay (1897-1966), An Art Deco silver plated figure of a standing female nude, inscribed to the base M A de Blonay, 'Unda Respiciens', 40.5cm Little is known of de Blonay. She sculpted mainly statuettes, busts, children's heads and animals, working in plaster, bronze and stone. She exhibited in widely in Paris from 1924 to 1934,receiving an honourable mention in 1927 and a bronze medal in 1933 from the Societe des Artistes Francais.
