Condition Report

Panel: It has not been possible to see the work out of its frame. Panel is sound. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating, however examination under UV light appears to reveal a few small spots of retouching in places, notably to the upper right corner. There are a few minor scratches in places, notably below the seated man's feet in the centre of the composition. There are a few minor dots of superficial dirt in places. This work is in overall good condition. Frame: There are minor scattered scratches, skinning, nicks and tears to the frame. This work is in overall good condition.
