Landscape watercolor of Marjorie Croft 1889-1980. Unframed in in good condition as shown, see photos . Croft was a painter, etcher and wood engraver, she was firmly in the countryside tradition of such a luminary as George Soper. Indeed her work is closely resembles his as well as covering similar subjects, though in Kent rather than HErtfordshire and East Anglia. This work comes from a sale of much of her studio work at a major London auction.
