An incomplete album of fifty-seven drawings and watercolours of beetles, birds, butterflies, moths, caterpillars and dragonflies (one illustrated)
signed, inscribed and dated 'Mary Ann Wilson/Woolwich 1829' (on the frontispiece), several inscribed 'Gibraltar' and 'Jamaica' and variously dated from 1818 to 1828
pencil and watercolour, on pink, blue and yellow leaves, which also contain prints and specimens (some damaged)
the album, 3¼ x 11 3/8 in. (8.3 x 28.9 cm.), overall
