Condition: Puncture to u.r. quadrant, subtle varnish inconsistencies.

N.B. Mary Josephine Walters, also known as Josephine Walters or M.J. Walters, is one of only a few known woman artists of the Hudson River School. She studied under Asher B. Durand, and was said to have been his favorite female student.
