modernist painter. Kahn was born in Russia, and moved to the U.S. to study at the Art Institute of Chicago; he also studied in Paris with Despiau and Bourdelle. He exhibited at the Worlds Fair New York (1939), Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago. He later taught at the Art Institute.
