MAX SCHODL (Austrian, 1834-1921) STILL LIFE WITH WINE, FRUIT AND CIGAR. Oil on mahogany panel shows a blue and white tablecloth set with a plate of fruit, a bottle of white wine and rhine wine glass, a silver champagne bucket with ice and bottle and half full champagne flute. A lit cigar rests on edge of table. All against a dark background. Signed lower right and dated 1876. House in a copper gilt wood frame with olive velvet lining. SIZE: 7-1/2" x 5-1/2".
