Notes

The newspaper pages depicted by Maxim Kantor illustrate the central aspects of a political system in which the realization of most private individuality dominates the media.
The title is referred to the text depicted in the upper right corner: 'Revelatio Ioannis Apostoli', or The Revelation of St John the Divine (or the Apocalypse). The book, written by the Apostle on the island of Patmos, is interpreted by Kantor in Newspaper like a kind of newspaper documenting the end of days.
